PLASTICE engages the scientific community at leading conferences in the Netherlands

March proved to be a highly eventful month for PLASTICE, with our partners from the University of Amsterdam actively participating in three key scientific events.

PLASTICE’s involvement in key scientific events provided a valuable occasion for sharing insights on the progress of the project. The month began with our participation in the Sustainable Chemistry International Conference, held on 10 March, where our partners delivered a concluding keynote talk at the 9th edition of the event.

Meanwhile, from March 10th to 12th, the Netherlands Catalysis and Chemistry Conference (NCCC) took place in Noordwijkerhout, continuing the tradition of its annual meetings, which have been held since 2000. This conference served as an international platform for both academic and industrial scientists to exchange groundbreaking ideas in the fields of catalysis and chemistry. Among the highlights, the University of Amsterdam presented both an oral presentation and a poster session, showcasing PLASTICE’s progress and contributions to sustainable plastics.

Finally, PLASTICE partners also participated in the Amsterdam Chemistry Innovation Event, held on 28 March 2025, which focused on the challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship in chemistry and biotechnology.
