The workshop was really fruitful and full of insights, during which the PLASTICE project gave a presentation entitled “Blockchain – applied to traceability of goods & services“.
The presentation starts with an introduction to blockchain technologies and platforms, the concept of decentralization, disruption innovation and blockchain-based solutions, including traceability tool for PLASTICE project.
Through this presentation you will also learn the blockchain basics: the context that gave birth to blockchain, what blockchain is and what is not. Popular blockchain platforms and implementations. You will also learn about the role blockchain will play in the PLASTICE project. And the necessary collaboration between the partners to start the activities in Task 2.4 of the project “Traceability of recycled content”.
