Role: validation – industrial partner for products validation and assessment of the demonstration.
In PLASTICE, TotalEnergies role is to validate the performance and the cost/environmental benefits of the demonstrators and the quality.
For that purpose, 3 objectives have been defined:
- To evaluate the quality of the chemical feedstock obtained from the plastic recycling processes: pyrolysis oil, DME( DiMethylEther) & olefins
- To test the production of new plastic and textile products from obtained feedstock (i.e. to obtain products ready to be fed in downstream processes for the further production of polymers, closing the plastic production loop)
- To assess PLASTICE environmental and economic performance from a life cycle perspective.
