The new designs, developed in close collaboration between CIRCE and reactor supplier CEINNMAT, aim to optimise the performance of the microwave heating system, improving operational stability and reliability. High-power testing and validation under pyrolysis conditions are currently underway, with the selection of the most robust and scalable solution expected by June 2026.
Following the final design selection, the reactor will be reassembled and installed back at CIRCE’s facilities for commissioning.
